"Ye've never fought Skaven before, have ye? Aye, they are cowards, but not when they have enough numbers. They'll swarm ye with expendable troops, then they stab ye in the back, through poisoned wind in ye face and then fire into their own kin, just to kill off a handful o' ye. Not only that, but ye kill a hundred, and two hundred come up. Ye understand the problem, lassie?"

"That is quite a problem..." Allarya replied as she looked around the council, before opening her mouth again, "...then what was the point of giving mister Nalim a punishment he couldn't possibly accomplish? Hardly seems fair..." she continued in the same innocent fashion, which was actualy genuine of all things, she simply couldn't understand why they would do that to one of their own kinsmen, if they knew he probably would never be able to succeed.

"Because he is an able fighter, a good tactician and he'll put his whole heart into the matter. And if we did not do this, he'd have to become a slayer, and then he'd just get himself killed. At least this way he has the chance of living, and if he does he will be a hero again. When broken oaths are concerned, you can't just give out mundane tasks which will only take a decade or so. Aye?"

"Quite true..." Allarya replied in a serious fashion as she nodded in agreement before looking around the council once again, "How ever, it seems that you have given Nalim little more than false hope. If your mighty klansmen could not whipe out the rat thingies, the chances of a single dwarf doing on it on his own are impossibly small." the princess added in a reflective manner as he observed the council, "It seems that you have imposed a fate far more cruel on Nalim than the slayer oath, his life would have been cut short considerably so, how ever is honor would be reinstated. Now you let him live in misery and pretend he is dead, his only hope for redemption is an admitedly nigh impossible task..."

Borak cut in at this.
"Nay, not impossible. While he may be dead to us, he still has a sense of tactics and the respect of the troops. During the last war against the Skaven, the commander in charge o' the bridge died and command fell to Nalim. Under his command the bridge was held long enough for reinforcements to come. We know that we will win this war and that the Skaven will be defeated. It is just a matter o' time. When that time comes, his honour shall be redeamed. Grimnir is with us."

"Well let us hope that Grimnir sees to your victory sooner rather than later." Allarya replied in a neutral fashion as she looked Borak square in the eyes before continuing in the same professional fashion, "Father regularly sends troops to train with your clansmen to insure that we might be able to properly support one and other in times of crisis, I would be more than happy to recommend he send further troops for training in subterrainean warfare with your kinsmen, so that we might be able to face this threat to our continued prosperity together.... if that is alright with you?" the princess stated in a flat diplomatic tone as she looked around the council. Despite her manner, Allarya was much less of a fool than she appeared, and knew full well that Yetzinburg's continued prosperity depended heavily on the dwarves of Kazad Dawr. With more formal military arrangements, she hoped to sement the bond.

"That could possibly be arranged. As the military matters o' Kazad Dawr are me responsibility, we can talk o' it in me own house. Tommorow afternoon ye may come to me residence and we will discuss it. Will that work for ye?"

"Oh, that sounds splendid." the princess replied with a cheery tone and a slight smile as she, before she turned to address the council as whole. "Uhm.... is there any more business you wish to discuss?"

The council members looked around the table, exchanging glances. With nothing else to say, Thorin spoke. "That will be all. You shall be escorted to the embassy."
The scribes finished writing and stood respectfully incase they were still needed.

"That dreary old place?" Allarya replied with a hint of boredom and dissatisfaction at having to go back to the stuffy old embassy, although truth be told it was only stuffy by her very picky standards most any one else would consider it one of the most luxurious places in the hold. "Surely there must be something more amusing to do here?" she continued in the same bored fashion as looked around the council.

None of them answered. Thorin gave her a dissaproving look, which seemed to be the norm among the elders. Only Azdull looked even a bit amused. All the dwarfs left the hall without a word, followed by the scribes. Only the hammerers were left, waiting for the princess.

Allarya turned around to look at the hammerers, she seemed completly unaffected in the least by the disapproving looks of the councilors, and why would she? They were after all just a bunch of grumpy old dwarves, she wouldn't really have expected them to know how to have fun any ways. "I don't suppose any of you know of an amusing place around here?" the princess inquired in a cheery fashion as she looked over the hammerers, hoping that atleast one of them might not be all that dull.

The hammerers looked at her for a second, before the one to her left laughed.
"Aye, ye could go down in the mines and see the skaven for ye self lass! Who knows, ye may solve Nalim's problem for him!"
The other hammerer glared at him, causing the one who had spoken to look away guiltily.

Allarya smirked happily at the dwarf's little joke, and here she had thought they were all a bunch of dull grumpy halflings with beards, at least this one proved to be the least bit interesting. "I'll take that as a no..." the princess replied with a slight sigh at the thought of spending the forseable future in such a boring place with nothing to do but contend with sour old elders. "Oh I know..." the elf replied with a slight hint of enthusiasm as thought crossed her mind, "...lets go slum...uhm I mean drinking... you do atleast have taverns don't you?" she continued in a cheery tone at she looked at the hammerers, from what she remembered of her past adventures, which more often than not wasn't much, there was always one place you could count on finding a dwarf and that was the local watering hole.
