Findofin is Caldath's private smithy, but despite this he is still alowed to sell his wares to visiting elves from the fey woods and others of high station who can afford it, this means that he has a very exlusive clientel as you have to be able to get with in the palace grounds in the first place.
Any human or dwarf(though not bloody likely) carrying elven made items gains +10 Ld and Fel with the locals because of these powerfull status symbols, also note that if you look like you shouldn't be carrying these items expect a lot of trouble from the watch.
Prices: Keep in mind that these items are 'standard' elven items, any custom made work will cost you A LOT more than what is listed here. Elven items are at 75% of the encumberance of their human or dwarven equivilants, and look a whole lot better.
Weapons:
AP2: Chainmail
AP3: Plate
Chainmail: Interlocking steel rings forming a flexible mesh, in the case of elven made armour this can also take the form of metal scales woven together.
Plate: Shaped pieces of metal armour, covering body sections as entire pieces or as segmented articulated armour. Plate armour is nearly always worn over other armour, often chainmail and quilted cloth.
Flexible Armour:
Ridged Armour:
Kites and Towers provide AP2,
Targets provide AP1

- Coif-
A coif is a hood that covers the skull and neck but leaves the face exposed. The coif reduces the wearers hearing ability.
Chainmail 75gc - Cowl-
A cowl is similar to a coif, but it is extended so that it covered the shoulders as well. The coif reduces the wearers hearing ability.
Chainmail 105gc - Gauntlets-
Gauntlets are specially developed gloves that cover the hands, with the majority of the protection to the back of the hand and fingers, allowing the hand to still grip weapons. However, manual dexterity is much reduced so no delicate work can be done whilst wearing gauntlets.
Chainmail 90gc - Habergeons-
Habergeons are like a short sleeve shirt, covering the upper arms, shoulders, chest and abdomen. Most habergeons can be slipped on over the head, requiring no extra assistance.
Chainmail 270 gc - Hauberks-
Hauberks are similar to tunics, but they are slightly longer; they cover upper & lower arms, shoulders, chest, abdomen, thighs and knees. Most hauberks are fastened up the back of the wearer and require a second person to adjust it to fit.
Chainmail 390gc - Leggings-
Leggings normally consist of two separate pieces, one for each leg. They cover the hips, thigh, knees and calf. Note that they do not cover the lower abdomen.
Chainmail 165gc
- Tunics-
Tunics are similar to habergeons, but they reach the to the mid leg; they cover upper arms, shoulders, chest, abdomen and thighs. Most tunics are fastened up the back of the wearer and require a second person to adjust it to fit.
Chainmail 375gc - Shirts-
An armour shirt covers the whole of the arms, the shoulders, chest and abdomen of the wearer. It is normally laced up the back - requiring a second persons help.

150gc - Large Round Shield (Hoplite's), The Hoplite shield, or large round shield is 4 to 4½ foot in diameter. Worn strapped to the arm, it is not very manoeuvrable and is mainly used to protect the body against attacks from the front of the bearer. Hoplites fight by interlocking their shields, making only their lower legs and heads visible to attack.
