Ekrund Gromdal
When the Starbreaker clan first came to the mountain that became the fortress of Kazad Dawr, many secret passageways where rought into the mountain for times of need, or to make it easier to do trade. The hut at Zak Gromthi has inside a small secret door which requires a password to open it, and this leads to one such passageway.
Ekrund Gromdal is a long, winding stairway that leads from the surface of the hold to the lower mines.
The stairway has now become dangerous, and tunnels not made by dwarfs appear along it more and more as it decends. There is also a large steam powered elevator which was once used to haul up mining materials to take to market in Wisenland of Mesembria, although it has not been used in more than a century and no one knows if it still works.
Cavern's of Cleg
At the bottom of Ekrund Gromdal, is the cavern of Cleg Earthrender, a glittering cavern which is rich in minerals, ores and even gem stones.
Cleg founded a small mining community with stone
houses and led a great mining campaign into the deeps and brought a great wealth to the hold. But in time, they attracted unwanted attention, scaven attacks became common, and the dwarfs began to loose their hold on this place of great material wealth.
Eventually, the Dwarfs where flushed out, and the hall was abandoned. Cleg returned to the hold with dinted pride and believed he had lost his honour, and vowed he would retake the mines and reclaim his pride. He rallied a small band of miners and elite long bearded warriors and led them into the mines they once held strong.
The advance was strong, if foolish, and the dwarfs devastated and forced the skaven back down the mines, making them safer one again. But their valour was heedless and they fought with follied minds, for even as the small band of skaven fled, their bretheren came from all sides upon the dwarfs. Cleg cast down his Grudge stone at the centre of the hall, and the dwarfs stood defiant even as they slowly drowned in the bodies of their foes.
Cleg and four last warriors baracaded themselves in the guildhouse, refusing to return to the hold untill all the enemies lay dead. None know what happened to Cleg, but his survival is more than doubtfull. Cleg's clan offer a reward for the return of his body, and that of his four companions, and if his weapons or armour have not been stolen by skaven, they would be considered priceless.
It is beleived that the skaven have tunnels leading to this area, but that they have never managed to use it to assault Kazad Dawr due to the cave spiders.
Kadrik Spangelhelm and Gotrek Sizzlack are believed to have witnessed a battle between skaven and the monstrous spiders.
What can be fought in this area?
Cave spiders, giant bats, possibly very small numbers of skaven, probarbly slaves.

The wells
Deep under the foundations of Kazad Dawr, the mighty Stromez Ruff flows ever on. The source of the Stromez-Ruff is a large underground lake, which is fed endlessly by unknown streams and groundwater ice upon Kazad Dawrs peaks. This massive underground lake has been broken through in some places, and has been utilised as a supply of water for the hold in times of need. Aswell as a supply of water to be blessed in the temples.
Unfortunatly, one such well, Gnolzhuff, is breached at one point by a tunnel not made by dwarfs. A skaven disciples of disease, led by Bilefic the infectious have defiled the well. If they are allowed to continue, Kazad Dawr's emergency water supply could become unusable.
What can be fought here?
Giant bats, Plauge monks, Plauge rats, Bilefic the infectious.
