Lokri, with the aid of Barek, staggered into the temple, it had been a long while since he was last in here, the last time was when the boiler blew up, though he didn't speak about that due to the fact people disagreed with him over who's fault it was. (Obviously he was right, and it was them who had made the mistake)
However he was here again, and was soon walking along the sanded floor, with Barek under his arm and shoulder keeping him upright. One of the maidens noticed his plight, and Cooley signaled the two dwarfs to a empty bed. The temple was fairly empty at the moment, mainly due to the fact that there were currently no major battles going on and only a few adventurers or slayers were in need of assistance.
"So whats his story then?" The maiden inquired to Barek as Lokri took off his clothes save his breeches, and lay down on the bed. (he had learned well the routine since the last times he had come. Barek explained what had happened, and the maiden placed her hands on her hips and smiled. "I don't know, you boys these days!"
The process began with his wounds being washed by holy water, then cleansed with Iodine, (luckily Lokri was one of the main part of the population whom it didn't affect) Then the wounds were bound and raised above the heart were possible to reduce the blood flow. The deeper wounds were stitched shut with some handy needlework and then wrapped up once more. Then he was given water, and good dwarf stout ale, which was so nourishing it would help the healing process. With the mundane rites completed, the younger maid departed to get a higher ranking nurse to perform the prayers to Valaya.
Whilst she was gone, Lokri took a chance to speak to Barek before they gave him the drink that made him fall to sleep. "Barek lad, if ye have nowhere tae stay tonight, don't pay to get in a tavern, you can go back to my clan if ye want. Some one will need to tell them what has happend to me anyways, so if its gonae save ye cash, ye should stay there. Tell one o' the nurses to give ye a note so that me clan knows ye are nay lien, and you'll be fine." Lokri said, halfway through having to speed up as another priestess was coming to give his his sleeping drink. "O and if ye could go to the barracks and tell Throndin and my class what has happened to me as well!" "You best get some sleep ma boy, you need all the rest you can get.." Lokri could not refuse and so drank the grog, slowly drifting off into sleep.

Barek stood watch over Lokri for a few minutes whispering his own prayers to Valaya to let his friend have a speedy recovery.
Barek mulled over the idea of whether or not to return to the tavern....He eventually deicded that it would be best that he did not. He needed to continue his own quest and also let Lokri's clan know what had happened to him. Decideing to head over to his friends clan and stop by the barracks to let Throndin and the class know what had happened would be the best course of actio, Barek turned to the nearest maiden.
Exuse me ma'am. Me freind asked if I could bring word of what 'as happened today to 'is Clan and I need to ask ye to write a note to 'is Clan informing them that 'e is 'ere.
The maiden looked from Lokri to Barek before retrieving a piece of parchment and writing a short note stating that Lokri is recovering in the temple and will be well soon. She finished by applying a seal of the temple n the top right corner and handing the rolled up parchment to Barek.
There ya go lad. And look after yerself.
Aye ma'am I will. Barek looked over his shoulder to Lokri as he lay sleeping before exiting the temple and heading for the barracks to see if he could track down the class.

Lokri was consumed by impeccable boredom, sitting around in a hospital bed while his tough old hide began to reform to its usual condition with the help of wode, rest, and the prayers of the priestesses. The poor bugger couldn't even twiddle his thumbs, because his arms were bandaged up due to the cuts upon them. He was looking around the room, and admiring the intricate frescoes that told a story to complected for a human to understand. Every now and then the nurse would come in, give him a drink, and food, and perhaps if he was really lucky, a bit of conversation. There was a slayer across the room who hummed indecently and seemed to have no better plan than to drive to madness all around him. Soon though, the nurses got sick of it and decided it was best to sedate him with liquor. Much to the improvement of the general mood. Lokri dropped off to sleep, because he could, and not because he was in any way tired. After a while he was awoken by the sight of two priestess' talking in attempted quietness, through a gap in the curtain around his bed. They kept their voices down, although he didn't have any trouble at all earwigging into exactly what they were saying. "It's a bloody nuisance, thats what it is!" "Don't loose any sleep over it, in the end its uny a bit o' water eh?" "Yeh, but they can't expect us to work without it can they? And its not like there will be a decrease in the number of dwarfs needing aid, the number can only go up! Someone needs to sort it out before it gets out of 'and!" The other priestess nodded solemnly. "Your right, but it's not like we can do anything about it, we'll just have to get someone to sort it out for us..." At this point, the two maidens cottoned on that Lokri was eavesdropping, and promptly closed his curtains left the room... [ooc:Lokri regains d6 wounds: 2 wounds ]

After another almost comfortable nights sleep, another batch of foul tasting drinks, soothing herbal applications and lots of blessings from the priestesses, Lokri was on the road to a full recovery.
The maidens had now finally buckled under Lokri's incessant blathering, and would from time to time talk to him to ease his time stuck in a bed. For Lokri was a talkative soul, and though he often found fit to be less than complementary on the fact he was being held in until his scabs had fell off and his scars settled, he enjoyed the company.
The lasses were a likable lot, although very forcible in their doctrine, (i.e. they would never be told that any medicine they administered was unnecessary), the dwarfs of Kazad Dawr held all of them with great respect. (not least because there were so few dwarf maidens about)
From them Lokri eventually dredged the information that the Gnolzhuff wells had been tainted by skaven, and that if any more of the wells were defiled, there would be a high possibility of a water shortage... "A promise ye now lass, I'll get me taegether a throng of fellers tae get rid of 'em! We'll soon have the bastards put out of their misery." Lokri said stoutly, with a furrow in his now scared eyebrow and speaking through his teeth. "O aye! Well I hope you have more luck than you did this time! Else you'll be seeing alot more of me Lokri Spangelhelm!" The priestess said with a laugh, wondering if this dwarf was all mouth and no trousers. "Nay lass! A swear it tae ye now, on me own honor, soon as I can, I'll get a few lads taegether and remove this wee bastard." Lokri said, this time with a hint of pomposity in his voice, due to the fact the maiden was challenging his ability to fight. "Oh alright then, I hope you do it well then. But mind me now, watch yourself. The skavens are using poisons, and if you aren't carefully they might do you more damage than I can mend..." The priestess gave Lokri the sedative drink again, and he descended back into sleep with the sight of her drifting away...

The day had come, and Lokri's bandages were finally being removed, he awoke with a start and drank down some more water he was given as well as a little bread. The high Priestess Esmirelda came over, as it would be her decision whether or not he was fit to leave the temple. Under her scrupulous gaze his bandages where removed to reveal his skin, pale and slightly blue from the woad, but fully healed and set with a few scars to be proud of, no doubt the old dwarf would tell many a tale of how he survived this most terrible attempt on his life.
Since it seemed he had fully healed, Esmirelda gave him leave of the temple, and left to see to other patients. The other priestess now began to wash and clean him so he was fresh again once he re-entered the hold, and also to check he had no hidden ailments that they had not detected.
It was not long before he was back in his clothes again, and sorting out his equipment for a return to the hold. His gear in order, and his rope and wire firmly slung over his shoulders, he tied his boots and made his exit from the temple, doubtless he would be back soon, but he would not admit it and felt he needed to say a fond farewell.
He left three gold crowns, (nearly all his money he had) in the collection plate, though he did indeed feel pangs of guilt that he, being usually rather liberal with gold, could not afford to repay those whom he owed the most, (save Barek of course). So, with determination entering his mind, he strode over to the priestess whom he had spoke with, and declared. "A thank ye for your efforts lass, and I promise ye now, by my life or death, I will remove that bloody skaven from your wells!" The priestess smiled, and wondered how long it would be before he was back in here again. Then he departed from the temple to see to his other affairs... [d6 wounds healed:1 Lokri now at full wounds]
