The Quarry Alliance is not one to miss an oppertunity to attract new customers, and in order to stay reasonably independant, (something it treasures greatly) it is willing to make diversify into many different markets.
Overground housing
Even manlings can by the housing and land outside the quarry, although there are discounts available to most dwarfs and freinds of the clan.
The houses are made of either brike or Proudstone rock.
These houses are not as safe as those behind the walls but there are the Mingols aswell as rangers to keep them safe. These houses are extremely cheep due to the fact they are so undesirable to dwarfs.
Apprentise dwarf masons training involves building these.
BRICK HOUSING
4 roomed: 1 bedroom upstairs with an outhouse and 2 rooms downstairs 124gc
8 roomed: 3 bedrooms upstairs with an outhouses and 2 larger rooms, a cellar and a loft 320gc
PROUDSTONE ROCK BUNGALOWS
5 roomed: 2 bedrooms, 2 larger rooms, an outhouse included 660gc
10 roomed: 5 bedrooms, 3 large rooms, 1 large cellars converted loft and an outhouse included 800gc
Land
Farmland can be leased or purchased for around
10gc an acre a year, though the price can be hagled.
Dwarf Highland Cattle
Dwarfs of the quarry alliance who own plots of land often have large herds of fine Kazad Dawr angus cattle. These farmers take these fine beasts to market in the bazaar, but they can be aproached individualy.
If you can haggle well, then you could possibly get a reduced price on the beasts, but the dwarfs value them highly, so they will seldom part with a beast for less than 80gc.
Anyone found attempting to steal cattle will be detained, or if a non dwarf, shot.
Quarry alliance independant farmers can be approached if you wish to buy preprepared meat, or meals. Their prices are high, but their quality is famous in the lands of Kazad Dawr.
