Well now that we all know that W.A.R is well into way....perhaps its time that we prepare for a guild(Hold) with a much greater population in the area's of raiding/groups/seperate forum area on site in which we can effectively work on both RPing here and communicating with fellow guildies and having fun. And also for ingame purposes it may be a good idea to prepare a guild leadership and system for distribution of high-level gear.
We have the ground work layed out by the people who have stayed around to RP here on this forum sence Warhammer Online got shelved, this being Thorek, Kadrik, Dras, Seth, Varn, Grundi, Thorax, Sythe, and myself.
We also have a (freakin awesome) site in which to begin building every thing nessesary for an effective guild.
But yea, with this game in the future and a (very appealing) Dwarven Guild. We can expect a influx of people that have an interest (this already hapening by people posting on the Warhammer Allaince forums). And in time as the game comes to completion and release we can have a jump on it by having a awesomse leadership base of buddies who have been RPing togther, we can provide the perfect platform in whcih to build a long lasting guild that can see a lot of the content the game has to offer........
I see a great future for Kazad Dawr with the release of W.A.R

Your not wrong! I personaly think everybody involved in kazad dawr who has managed to stick it out soo long is due a well earned pat on the back.
Over the years, we have as a group developed a bond of freindship that does not evolve simply through playing a game with each other every now and then, we have all had our highs and lows and we all know that a freindly word can be had whenever we need it.
Basically, if we all manage to stay together till the game releases, it will be an honour to rp there with you, and even if we don't, it has been a pleasure to spend time in collaborative litterature with you fine fellows, something I will never forget.
I am confident that when the game releases, thanks to the efforts of Thorek for the site creation, and everyone in good measure for your impeccable input, our guild will be one of the best thought out and fluffed guilds in the game. ;D
ps: Perhaps we should begin to think of a way to connect the WAR storyline to Kazad Dawr, although I do think it is slightly badly thought out (the whole witch king brainwashing goblins is a bit silly) that is what the fluff is, and we should consider what our characters will be doing within that setting. For Karak Eight Peaks!

I totally agree man......perhaps we can work around how the council has answered a call to arms from the king and pledged some of its greatest fighters to the fray?

I looked around here a bit and this seemed like the best place to post this so here goes.
I am looking for a hardcore group of Dwarves to join up with for W.A.R. I would like to hit this MMORPG running with a tight knit group that is into RPing and fighting grin skins. I'm not looking to join a mixed guild. As a dwarf I don't see the need to weaken the team with Humans let alone Elves. I have many years of role playing experience and I'm willing to dedicate a lot of time to this guild. I think W.A.R is going to be awesome and I want to be part of a great team. Hope to hear from you guys.

Well let me be the first to welcome you to this site. I guess you could call us one of the tightest group of dwarf players(Plus Dras) as we are what's left of the biggest dwarf guild on the original WarhammerOnline site. If you want to Rp with us post in the 'Character request' board and we'll try and get your character up and running asap.

Thanks for the welcome!
I look forward to meeting new brothers to drink with beside the roaring fires of our halls and new brothers to fight with outside our fortress walls. The battlements of Karak Eight Peaks lie broken and my blood is filled with rage that we are not at this very moment charging out to war! That day will soon come, I know, but until it does I will be proud to stand beside you, sharpen my axes with you and raise a toast together, "to VENGENCE!"

I think this guild is bigger then WAR. Bigger then an MMO can hold but doesnt mean i wont be happy to see everyone pixelated and what not its why we got to gether in the first place.
