Comrades, Brothers in arms, friends,
Time is upon us, our hold is now dark where once was red light from the forges. The halls are silent where once the ring of hammer on anvil sounded and the songs and tales were told freely. This hold has survived more than a generation of dwarfen lives. We the chosen few now remain to guard the halls created by its fathers, from those who would seek our blood. Have we not stood together upon the brink of destruction. Have we not broken armies upon our walls, and rebuilt them stronger than ever before. Have we not survived over five changes of sites to get where we are. Even in our time we have spent over two years creating this site, from the great gates above to the underground passages below. Even if I have to change my name to Grombrindal, I shall not see this destroyed. Grumbaki(Thorek) haven't you been with the guild since near the begining. You have been with this guild longer than myself, and now you wish to go?? We know you have your own life but you need not suffer in silence. The Copperfists as well live on here, as well as the Thorgissons, Spangelhelms, Ironbeards, even if we try hard enough the Starbreakers. We have stayed to long axe kin to throw it away now.
Upon the great ancestor god Grungni himself I speak to you and ask that you return to your homes. For I will kill a thousand Grobbi, and a million vermin before I see this hold fall from greatness to shadow.

Well said, noblest Ironbeard, Indeed I am giddy with the thought that our times of sour uncertainty and nomadic existence may finally be reaching an end.
Upon the new forums I see the fruition of our labors slowly taking shape, my mind struggles to comprehend that one day, perhaps all of our efforts and pains and determination will pay off.
I come to find this site, and our lore played out before me and I smile, for with beardling guilds appearing all about the forums, I know that no fledgling warrior company will have such rich and historically documented history.
With the arrival of new dwarfs, I see not only hope, but vast opportunity and dream of expansion. Let not our once mighty realm of influence fall remain in this shadow of its former glory, let us cease the initiative and unleash our true potential upon the other forums.
All of us have invested great time in this venture, I say we uphold, and honor the efforts of ourselves and those who helped shape this guild.
