The birth of Aravax is unkown. When he was a young child his family abondoned him in the black mountains. He never found out why, he liked to assume that he was hidden by his parents for protection, and they were unable to return to him, but it is more than likely that his mother did not want a bastard child and left him on the roadside one night while he slept. When he awoke he was alone, so he did all he knew he could do, wonder around and cry out for his mother. Luckily for Aravax, some unlikely travelers picked him up one day, starving and near death on the roadside.
A wagon trains of some dwarfs was passing by. The dwarfs hold had just been infested with skaven and goblins, and the dwarfs were forced to abandon the hold. They were searching for a new hold or a place to settle at least for awhile. The dwarfs settled in a valley in the mountains, and began on constructing their new hold. They never had a chance to gaze into the shining halls.
Aravax had grown into a fine warrior. And had been making a name of himself as a pit fighter in the local towns. As Aravax returned, victorious from a local tournament, to look upon in horror at the slaughter of his new family. Thousands of Night Goblins poured into the valley from the mountains, catching the dwarfs by suprise, and quickly slaughtering them. Aravax could look on in horror. The Goblins filed back into the mountain and Aravax return to the encampment. He stared at his friends in horror. Their lifeless bodies staring into nothingness. Aravax heard some gurgling and moaning. He turned to see the Captain of the settlement, Groil, lying on the ground, clutching his runic great sword. With one last gasp of strength he threw the blade to Aravax, then died. Aravax didn't know what to do, so he left. He left to avenge his friends, his family.
Tyl: Joined the Mercenery Guild
Tyl: With the help of Orro de Norte (and an odd druid called Warren), tracked down murderer, Cronox, and brought him to Oldric. This took them deep into the forest and they had battles with greenskins, a wolf and a beastman.
Tyl: Made a journey to Kadaklan, protecting a special artifact. He was accompanied by men, dwarfs, and elves. They fought of greenskins, a troll, freed a town from marauders, and killed bandits who tried to rob the load. Many of the companions fell, or died of their injuries along the way.
Tyl: Became a Judicial Champion.
Tyl: Went on a journey to the ruined city of Sevalodoc to recover a magic ring, accompanied by Nalim, Bim, and a noble, he fought many culists and almost single handidly slew a Demonette (did 12 of 13W), but took many wounds in the battle, nearly dieing. Befriends Nalim the dwarf.
Tyl: Won his first (and probably only) Judicial Pit Fight.
Tyl: With Nalim, traveled to the dwarfen hold of Kazad Dawr.
Kazad Dawr: Joined the battle against the skaven. Fought against Gutter Runners who assassanaited the priestess Brundrika. Fought the Stormvermin as they attack the hold from within, and went behind enemy lines to hit the skaven rear with a small band of dwarfs, this act came with the first showing of Rhun Zharr Vengryn's power. Taking many wounds in this battle, but once again, cheating death.
Aravax stayed in Kazad Dawr for the rest of his life. He remained a Dawikoni and held his friendship with Nalim until his dieing days. He did not live long after the Doomstones Quest, though. He received numerous wounds, and never fully recovered. He lived in Kazad Dawr as a [insert whatever he received from the elders after the Doomstones Quest here]. He met a young woman while he was protecting a wagon train from Kazad Dawr to Tyl. They fell in love and soon she was carrying his son. They went on to have 2 more children, both girls, who went on to become wives of other traveling warriors and left Kazad Dawr behind to live in a human city. Aravax stayed in Kazad Dawr though and passed Rhun Zharr Vengryn down to his son, who remained in the hold with his father, who passed it to his son, who passed it to his son, who passed it to his son, who passed it to his son who holds it now. Aravax V lives up to his great-great-grandfather’s name with great zeal. The line has remained close friends with the Bloodhelm clan. Aravax still visits Old Thorax (as he calls him) in his clan home, and enjoys questing with his son, Rarhak Bloodhelm.
