The social hierarchy from top to buttom, needless to say most PCs will be on the lower end of this little pyramid, though with some work and a little luck you can rise to become a respected member of society.
- Caldath: Top of the food chain, he's the prince his word is law, getting noticed is a nigh impossible feat, but brings great rewards. Oddly enough Caldath is rather popular amongst the lower classes, his larger than life reputation combined with a quasy-heroic list of vanquised foes have made him somewhat of a folk hero. He tends to reward those who impress and amuze him, meaning that nobles and peasants are often on an equal footing when it comes to the prince's attention and good graces.
- Caldath's Family: A very small notch bellow the prince himself, some are more sociable than others.
- Caldath's Retainer's & Royal Guard: This is as far as any one not of Caldath's blood can go, they wield considerable politcal power and/or are for all intents and purpouses above the law, even nobles think twice before crossing them.
- Nobles: While they wield less political power than their counter parts from other lands, they are none the less a firmly entrenched segment of Yetzinburg's society and are for the most part above the law... not to mention very wealthy.
- Wizards and Clerics: barely a notch bellow nobility, these men are highly respected, and often wealthy.
- Elves: While supposedly no different than commoners under the law, the few elves who pass through are quite well recieved in Yetzinburg, and for the most part are left to do as they please.
- Officers, Magisters, city officials etc etc: These people are often of noble blood, but none the less there exceptions as those of particular talent will normaly find themselves quickly promoted and may even hold a high station in the government. Those of common blood who hold these stations are very well respected and for the most part liked and admired, standing as a shining example that even the common man can succeed in Yetzinburg.
- Master Artisans and Merchants: generaly wealthy and highly skilled in either trade or craftsmanship, these men are highly respected for their work and the resources they bring to the town, though often reguarded with jealousy.
- Dwarves: As with elves, dwarves technically speaking at least are no different than commoners, how ever they are accorded considerable leeway by the prince when it comes to settling grudges and matters of honor, as such they tend to be a respected, if not feared, segment of Yetzinburg's society.
- Commoners: Most people fall into this category, your average every day citizen, they are for the most part free to do as they please so long as they play by the rules.
- Adventurers: These people are more or less commoners as well, how ever they tend to be scrutinised more closely by the watch, and are often reguarded with disdain.
- Halflings: Technicaly speaking they have the same rights as common men, how ever they are widely viewed as liars and kleptomaniacs.
- Serfs: Peasant farmers which do not own their own land, the only thing lower than a serf is a beggar or condemned criminal, how ever they are for the most part well treated.
