There are many tribes of goblins living in the mountains around, and beneath Kazad Dawr here can be found some information about the more significant tribes that can be encountered.
When RPing in the mountians, you may encounter other greenskins that are not found on this list, however, this list shows the statistics for more unconventional goblins.
Black star tribe
These goblins were not the usual type found in this land.
These creatures were of a new, more sinister tribe emerging, and beging to gain control over all other tribes. They called themselves the "Black star tribe", and had done so ever since a black comet had struck down the orc warband that were begining to drive them to extinktion. The goblins worshiped this black stone from the heavens, and developed a cult around it.
Black Star goblins covered their faces with ornate black tatooes and black warpaint, swirls and blocks of colour made them look even more savage than usual. They stopped wearing armour, and instead rely on their magic warpaint, derived from the stone itself, to give them protection. The creatures prefer to ride jet black wolves, and their champions always ride upon one, if they cannot find one, then they cover their grey wolf with black cloth and warpaint to signify them.
These goblins wore no clothes, save for a simple fur about the groin, and a animal pelt shrug about their shoulders. Their arms and legs, were adorned with black feathers, and these tokens were made into great head dresses for their champions.
Black star goblins fought with throwing spears or tomahawk throwing axes. Or crude swords.
Numbers: Constantly changing, generally ranges around 150 to 200
Territory: They generally prey upon those travelling the Imperial road.
Preffered Tactics: Ambushes and hit and run attacks
Alliances: None
Strengths: Strong cavalry, massivly manouvrable
----
Greyscab tribe
An mysterious tribe that has settled in the harsh grey crag area in the northern reaches of the borders.
They seldom leave their own area, and tend not to raid caravans unless they come really close to their home.
This is very strange goblin behaviour and has led to the beleif that they must be up to something.
Numbers: Unknown, probarbly around 500
Territory: The rocky lands about grey crag
Preffered tactic: Unknown
Alliances: Non agressive pact with the Jagged Arrow clan
Strenghts: Rumour of shaman
----
Jagged Arrow Clan
The jagged arrow clan is a relatively old tribe. It formed after the first siege of Kazad Dawr from amongst the survivors of the attack and has survived ever since. The goblins are nomadic, moving from place to place. The tribe is made up of foot soldiers, with little to no wolf riders. They make great use of short bows, and all of their best warriors will fight from a distance. A cowardly lot, they are still dangerous.
Numbers: 1000ish
Territory: Nomadic, though they generally stick to the area around where Wisenland ends and Kazad Dawr's territory begins
Preffered Tactics: Fire from a distance while the majority of them charge in. If things look bad they will flee.
Alliances: Grey Crag clan non agressive pact
Strengths: Massive archer pressence
---
Torn Ear Clan
The torn ear clan is one made up of night goblins. They can be found in the caves around Kazad Dawr, and in the mines beneath it. Because of the large number of dwarfs and Skaven, they will generally keep to themselves when in the mines, but will attack either side if they get to close to their territory. When they go to war, they do so with a large number of trolls and fanatics, and they are also known for their shamans. They are a small tribe though, and thus don't hold too much power.
Numbers: 400ish
Territory: lower mines, cave systmes
Tactics: ambushes
Alliances: None
Strengths: Acces to powerfull bestiary
