Allarya smiled underneath her black hooded cloak, the ride to Kazad Dawr had been a pleasant one, for the most part, the temperature was balmy, only the slightest of breezes was in the air, the sun was shinning, and the trip had been uneventfull. Her company though, she remakred to herself with a slight shiver going down her spine, could have been much better. Even though he she had placed herself up-wind the elf still caught the occasional wif of roadwarden musk, needless to say the princess didn't consider these unwashed rangers to be most pleasant of company. Soon though she would be in Kazad Dawr and rid of them for the next little while, she only hoped that the dwarves would smell better, but she wasn't about to hold her breath.
Her father could be so cruel when he wanted to, why couldn't he have sent her off to the fey woods instead and let that grumpy brother of hers deal with the dwarves, after all the two did have matching dispositions she mused with a slight hint of amusement, well at least the dwarves had one thing going for them...
--- --- --- --- ---
"Grimnir's teeth!" the gate keeper spat out as he caught sight of the princess' dark blue hair and pink eyes as she road foward with her bodyguard to meet him, "Ye brought us one o' them slaane..." the dwarf continued before he was cut off by Allarya's bodyguard, "Choose your words carefully master dwarf, the last person who made such allegations met quite a... messy end." the well groomed man replied matter of factly, coincidently being of respectable breeding he was the only human in the group who bathed reguarly making him quite welcomed and certainly appreciated by the princess.
Fortunatly word of this probably wouldn't get out as Allarya wasn't really paying attention nor did she entirely care, she had grown up with such behavior especialy coming from dwarves and foreigners and had learned to over look such slights at least the first time around. "Ooh... so *that's* what father did with Hienrich..." Allarya remarked to herself with a hint surprise, obviously Caldath had never told her what he did with the uppety servant or with most people who persisted in bringing up such accusations, "I suppose father can be a little overprotective..." she added a moment later as she finaly turned her full attention towards the dwarf and looked at him with a slight smile, she wondered if he was anything like that grumpy old ambassador that was living in the palace grounds, seeing Magnund go into one of his speechs about recompense, honor and other such dwarfyness had always brought a smile to her face considering she had no idea how serious he was being, "What is it that Magnund always says..." she continued in a slightly confused fashion as she tried to remember the finer points of dwarven honor, before finaly exclaiming in a triumphant fashion; "...I got it! My father would demand... re-com-pense, is it? for such an accusation. But I won't tell, if you promise you won't do it again, that sound fair?" she continued in a pleasant fashion as she looked the dwarf straight in the eyes, waiting for a reply but he didn't make a move, he seemed to be thinking it over rather carefully, finaly it took a little too long for the princess' liking so she just assumed he wouldn't.
"Any ways, father sent me here as punish...erm... ambassador to the council, something about spending time with your kin and teaching me some responsibility, if its ok with you?" she continued in a half-hearted fashion with a slight smile, her silvery voice seemingly lingered in the air for a moment, despite her strange apperance Allarya had an almost bewitching charm about her...
