The hammerers escorted the princess to the tavern, holding their hammers tightly and glaring at anyone who looked at them. As the three of them came in, the place started to quiet down as everyone started at the elf who had just walked in. The tavern was mostly full of humans, though there were a few dwarfs and even a halfling among them. One of the humans, a drunk mercenary started to laugh.
"Ha! An elf, here? I've been to two other dwarfs holds, and this is definately a first. This'll make a good story."
His friends laughed and nodded, while the dwarfs in the tavern started reaching for their weapons. The hammerers looked ready to kill. The tension in the room was building...

Allarya smiled pleasantly as if she was blissfully unaware of the apparent danger or perhaps she simply chose to ignore it, after all she was the princess of Yetzinburg and she doubted any one was stupid enough to lay a hand on her. "This is just like the headless orc..." the elf remarked to herself as she walked over to a more secluded part of the tavern and motioned for one of the wenches.

A human wench quickly came up to her, her hands were trembling slightly.
"Good...god day, uhm, your, uhm...ma'am. What would you like to drink?"
In the background the dwarfs were now arguing with the human mercenaries, and they were getting louder and louder.

Allarya looked at the wench impassively for a second not quite understanding why she was trembling, the elf simply assumed that it was a common condition amongst peasants as most seemed to react to her that way and so after a few moments didn't give it much thought, "Bring us ale... uhm... dwarven ale... Groddi's something or other and lots of it." the princess replied with a dismissive wave of her hand before turning her attention back to the two hammerers, who were still standing at attention for some reason, "If you don't like Groddi's... I can always get you something else? Like Bugmans or wine..." she continued in a friendly though somewhat confused tone as he motioned for them to sit.

The hammerer to her left, the one who had glared at his companion, nodded. "That'll be fine."
As the serving wench left, they were given a clear view of a dwarven trader punching a mercenary in the balls. A fight quickly broke out, but fortunately it was across the bar and far from the door.
"This could be dangerous. Would ye like to leave?" As he said that, a mug flew past his head and shattered against the wall.

"Why? Its not even much of brawl..." the princess replied in a care free tone having seen and done much worse, after all she was sent to Kazad Dawr as punishment for starting a brawl that ended up being closer to a riot in Northshire with some of the local nobles, if she was worried about such a little squabble she didn't show any signs of it, "Now, please sit down and have a drink..."

With visable reluctance the hammerers took a seat and sat in stony silence. The wench came back with the drinks, taking a long route around the fighting. She quickly handed them out.
"There you go. Uhm, I was wondering, er, never-never mind..."

"Wondering what?" the princess inquired in a pleasant fashion before grasping one of the tankards and downing half of it in a suprisingly quick gulp. After which she turned her attention back to the wench.

"Well, rumors are that you and your family are uhm...special. I mean, not like most elves. Is...is that true?" She took a quick step back, as if afraid of being struck by lightning. The hammerers looked at the princess for a moment in disbelief before regaining their sullen looks.

Allarya stared at the wench for a few moments bearing quite the puzzeled look on her face and not entirely quite sure what the women was asking about, before downing what was left of her ale, as of yet the princess appeared to be totaly unaffected by the strong alcohol. "Special?" the princess replied with a hint of curiosity in her voice after a few moments of thought, as if she had no idea what the human was talking about, "In wha... oh I think I know what you mean..." princess replied as with a hint of satisfaction, as she thought she understood what the women was inquiring about, "...thats right, people say elves can't hold their liquor. Right?" she added in a cheery one as she looked at the two hammerers for confermation of this.

The hammerer who had joked with her earlier smiled and nodded his head. "Aye, 'tis the truth. Nay heard o' an elf who could drink worth a d**n without being full o' magic. And that be cheatin', aye?"
Again, he got a cold glare from the other hammerer, but the warm smile didn't leave his face.

"You mean like casting a spell or something?" Allarya replied with a hint of curiosity, as she snatched another tankard of ale and downed it, this time spilling a little on her dress in the rush, before she turned to look at the two dwarves, "Whats the matter? You've barely touched your ale, don't be so sheepish its not that strong, and here I thought dwarves liked drinking..." the princess added with a hint of disappointment at the behaviour of these two dwarves, from what she had seen previously she had thought the stunted folk were supposed to be prodigious drinkers, not to mention being drunk was no fun if you were the only one!
